2010 Mission Trip

We will be ministering to the Crow Agency in Montana August 2-6, 2010, with 1 or 2 travel days on each end of these dates.

The trip is designed around our group’s talents and abilities. Activities may include home repairs such as painting, roofing, electrical, and plumbing as well as social activities such as VBS and worship service. Depending on the location in Montana, we may be able to plan some nearby sightseeing trips.

We meet monthly to determine how to share responsibilities for planning our trip, participate in team building activities, and determine how we can serve the community we are going to. In addition to this monthly commitment, team members will be required to help with fund raising. The majority (possibly all) of the funds raised for the trip will be obtained through the sale of fireworks in 2009 and 2010. Therefore, participants will be required to take part in fireworks sales in 2010 (there are a variety of jobs) or find other means of fund raising. (cost of the trip is estimated at $700 to $800 per person.)

Those who have been on mission trips before can testify that their time and effort was well invested and the reward of helping others in need is priceless.
